About the Author

Caitlyn O’Leary was raised in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. She has always been an avid reader. Her earliest creative writing endeavors consisted of “ghost writing” exercises where she pretended to be her younger brothers and sister when she did their homework assignments.
Years in corporate America honed her ability to manipulate words by day and at night she read everything she could get her hands on, including many steamy romances.
Now happily married to her long, tall Texan and living in Southern California, Caitlyn has finally found the time to write erotic happily ever afters. She enjoys swimming, traveling, babysitting for her nieces and nephews, spending time with friends and family, and doing lots of “research” with her husband for upcoming novels.

Terrific He and his SEAL team go into rescue Lydia and her family from a drug cartel that has kidnapped them. Clint falls in love with Lydia while getting heart out of the jungle, but knows they are going into Witness Protection. But a lot of twist and turns his team needs to help again.

When Clint and his team rescue Lydia and her family from the Mexican cartel in the jungle, he forms a bond with her that keeps drawing him back to her side. And that's the only thing that saves her life once the cartel finds her and is determined to finish the job. Lydia is no ordinary damsel in distress - she's got mad skills that are in some cases better than Clint's. Together they hit the road, go into hiding, and use every available tool in their combined arsenals to shut down the cartel for good. This author brilliantly uses the suspense and drama as a backdrop to the emotional development as Lydia and Clint realize how perfectly suited they are for each other. Lydia is strong enough to allow Clint to help her when she needs it, and Clint is strong enough to know that she doesn't always need it. These two are sizzling together, with some very sweet scenes that remind us all how true love is the only thing worth fighting for. The story can be a bit far-fetched at times as Clint and his SEAL team are the only government agents truly above suspicion, but it never quite goes over the top. We know going in that the SEALs are the heroes, and the story showcases exactly why that works. While this book is a standalone romance, Lydia's sister is also on the run and her story is told in the next book of this series.

It was a good story, but I had trouble, at times, figuring out who was speaking. Caitlyn tends to not put other people's actions into different paragraphs from the speaker, so it can be hard to follow.

This could have been a good book but my copy on my reader was missing pages and then was completely missing the last few chapters. I'm sure something exciting happens...

Better then I expected , some of the other 'seal' type romances are all about sex and this was not . Would definitely read more from this author .

Great storyline and just loved the characters. From the beginning you are rotting for the good "guys". It was very interesting twist to learn of the computer nerds , loved it! Definitely recommend this book. I will definitely be reading more by this author. mjw

Recommended Good story with a lot of on-the-edge-of your seat action deep in the Mexican jungles rescuing Lydia and her family from the drug cartel. When they returned to the US the seals continued to protect the family as trusted people were discovered to be working for the cartel who still wanted them dead. Additionally, it had romance in spades. Although I enjoyed this story it should have been rated 3-1/2 rather than the 4-star I gave it because unless my Nook didn't download the book completely, the story jumped from the intense manhunt to Lydia's marriage. I did give it 4-stars because of the jungle rescue.

I had such high hopes for this book!!! Turned out to be....okay and disappointing. The dialogue and story line was not believable and everything in felt rushed. If the author would have taken her time with the plot, then I would have no doubt this book would have been a crapton better.

I wanted something about the animals, not a soldier.
