Just an okay read. i didn't like the some of the things The main girl puts up with. She's suppose to be a hard core girl but puts up with a beating, cheating boyfriend. But wont take any crap from anyone. Turns a blind eye to murder, and drugs. Just found that a little hard.

Rachael Orman’s “Her Ride” is a heart-twisting read. Ellis, the leading man, is a hottie hero and just all around good guy. Some of the parts where the leading lady is getting abused by a total jerk can be a little close to home for people who’ve been with abusive partners. You might get turned on a lot and maybe tear up a little too. Definitely an emotional tale. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.

Her Ride by Rachael Orman blew me away. Here I was thinking it was going to be a typical style book, boy was I wrong. When she kept talking about her secrets getting out, of course I came to the WRONG conclusion. I was so far off that I do not think I was even on the same planet. I so love this book and I am salivating at the thought of reading Patrick’s book.  Ryan may come across as a brat at times. She has her reasons. You have to keep guessing if she will ever clue in to her feelings for Dirty. He is all about her and does his best to win her over. He is devastated when he learns her secrets, but does not let that deter him. This is a 5 star ***** book all of the way. Notice how I keep mentioning her secrets? You will have to read the book to find out what they are. This book pulled all kinds of emotions out of me.

4 stars I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, abuse, suspense, secrets, twists & turns, and heartbreak.  This is Ryan and Ellis’s story. Ryan is coming back home.  After serving in the Marines she is back home to spend time with her family for a few months before leaving the Marines.  She has a boyfriend but she wants to break it off with him.  He is mean and treats her like crap.  Ellis her brother’s best friend was he childhood crush.  Now her feeling for him are changing but she does not have time to deal with Ellis and all her other problems.  Can she be with Ellis but also keep him at a distance?  What will happen if he ever finds out the secrets she is keeping?  Will he be okay with all the decisions she is making without him and her brother for support?  Will Ryan keep to her guns and do what she wants or will she allow Ellis to help support her? I loved these characters and also the side characters. There are some tear filled moments and some anger filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

I love Rachael Orman. There aren’t enough words of praise I could give her.  Her Ride is engrossing and hot as hell. I read the whole book in one sitting they ate TV dinners at my house that day. The issue of abuse is one that is dear to my heart. I think Rachael handled it really well within this book. I love the drama that infuses the whole series.  This one is about Ryan coming home, from the Marines, to her brother and his MC. She finds her childhood crush still there only now he is even more delicious. Her ex brings trouble so the MC and Ellis help her out.  I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it but wish the ending wasn't rushed but it was still a fantastic book
