4.5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, secrets, twists & turns, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Legal Ease (Sutton Capital, #1) Penalty Clause (Sutton Capital, #2) The Baker's Bodyguard (Sutton Capital, #3) Negotiation Tactics (Sutton Capital, #4) The Billionaire's Suite Dreams (Sutton Capital, #5) The Baker, the Bodyguard, and the Wedding Bell Blues: A Holiday Novella (Sutton Capital #6) This is Sam and Logan’s story. Sam is a computer genius who can hack like no one’s business. She works for the good guys. Logan is back from the battlefield but he suffers from PTSD. Sam notices his PTSD and is able to help him with some of the effects. When danger comes calling after Sam they have to figure out if that danger is from Sam’s past or from Logan’s past. Can they figure out where the danger is coming from before it’s too late? Or will the danger they think they are fighting not be the true danger comes for Sam. When Sam’s own plan is used on her she must come up with a new plan to take down the enemy. But when she does not think the enemy is a dangerous as they are will she be gunned down before she can be saved? Will this truly be the end of Logan and Sam? I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book.

This book had me swooning and on the edge of my seat at the same time. Sam and Logan were amazing, and I always love to see the characters from past books as part of the story! Can't wait to see more in the future

I LOVE a long series of stand alone books that bring an entire cast of characters into great depth and light. I've read most of the Sutton Capitol books. missing I think two, but can still follow right along with book 7 and love Sam and Logan as much as I did Jack and Kelli from book one. Sam is a hacker genius who helped find Kelly and bring down a human trafficking ring in book one. She's quirky and says what she's thinking without realising it. you can't help but love her odd personality. it brings to mind a bit of Autism I see in several of my family members and just makes me want to know her. Logan is a veteran trying to adjust to civilian life. his dedication to no being "not okay" is inspiring. again he's a character you just want to know, thank and become friends with. The cast and crew of Sutton Capitol is slowly growing. Giving us more of a peek at each character as Jack and Kelli bring more life into the world, Chad and Jeannie enjoy wedded bliss and others come together to help solve who is "bugging" Sam. The book is full of drama, laughter and love making a very enjoyable read you don't want to end. on another note, it is very obvious Lori Ryan put a lot of time and research into this story. Learning some signs, symptoms and helpful treatments of PTSD. Bringing life to a serious condition harming many men and women today. whether it be veterans, police, fire, victims, etc. it helps shed light on how hard trauma, death and war can effect a person's brain and how caring and counseling can help these men and women cope with everyday life even if they never forget. Thank you for that and even if it opens one person's eyes I think you've done an amazing job.

This is the first book I have read by this author along with the first in this series. This was a very touching read of how a military hero comes home surfing from PTSD he hides it well even if a few things are a little off to those he works with. He was surprised when Samantha picked up on it and was shocked how well she handled him and his issues. With all the danger around he must learn how to handle it better as he tries his best to fight not only his PTSD but to keep Samantha safe. This was a very touching and powerful read as the author gives you a heartbreaking story of a hero coming home trying to work out his issues on his own and the people around him trying to help him as they go on the hunt for the person who is trying to harm Samantha. Logan has not had an easy life coming from an alcoholic father. In finding his self and controlling his issues he will have to revisit his past what he finds out things are not always as they seem. In saving Sam Logan is made an escape goat as they do their best to bring him down leaving Sam wide open to a killer. Will Logan pull his self together overcome his PSTD along with his troubling past as he tries to keep his head above water why trying to save the lady who is trying to save him. I really liked Logan and could relate to him. From what I have seen firsthand from my military friends this author did her research bring us a very believable story with so much pain of those that do their best to serve and protect us only to come home broken, lost and alone having trouble dealing with fitting back in to our world. Logan just wants to be normal with all that he has seen and the flashbacks it is not easy. He really wants a family and a woman who will love him but with his issue he doesn’t think he is good enough. He is broken, half a man and seeing no end in sight. You will love this character as he goes in to protective mode to keep those he cares about safe why fighting his own demons. Sam wow she is something else. To her credits she is a well known hacker the best of them all she has a few secretes she is hiding that might shock a few. She is a very well put together lady from her mind to her actions. A very down to earth caring lady who does her own severing and protecting as she takes on the world trying to do her best for Logan. If she wants something she goes after it letting nothing stand in the way. She is defiantly a women you want on your team and not as an enemy. I love the way she shows Logan who is boss with her sassy attitude. You will fall in love with her almost from the first page. The author gives you a very well written story with an outstanding plot as she gives you thrills and excitement throughout this read as the characters have to find out who is plotting to take them out. She gives you danger as she takes you through the twist and turns you do not see coming. She gives you humor of the finest that will make you laugh one minute and keep your heart in your throat the next. The characters are truly heroes of the finest as they try to bring the bad men down trying to stay alive as they fight their own issues. I cannot wait to go back and read the rest of this series. This is a story you can sink your eyes into as you turn the page to find what the next thrill will be and what kind of mess the characters get into next. There was nothing I didn’t like about the book. The author gives a compelling read that you will not want to end.

The perfect mix of romance, suspense, humor, healing and friends. A page turner until the end, and then I even wanted more. Sam is a computer hacker working for Sutton Capital. Not seeing her own outward beauty. Logan is new to Sutton and will be working with Sam. There is an instant attraction but Logan is afraid to act upon it as he is dealing with his own demons of PTSD, as a former Navy Seal. When they to start to move forward in their relationship, there is another danger lurking, a threat to Sam's life. Loved the chemistry between these two kindered souls, and the healing that goes on between them. Great secondary characters. A wonderful story of healing from PTSD, and being able to move forward in life. I so enjoyed catching up with Sutton family. This book is part of a series, but can be read completely as a stand alone. A great character guide at the end of the book for all the Sutton Capital books.

Her SEALed Fate by Lori Ryan is a powerful romantic suspense that captured my heart and made me feel like few books can. I loved Sam and Logan's story. It's one of those books that will stay with me for a long time. Sam is a computer expert working for Sutton Capital. Although she is smart and thoughtful, she has no idea of her beauty and lacks self confidence outside of work. When Logan a former Navy SEAL joins Sutton Capital, he will be working closely with Sam. For both of them there is an instantaneous attraction, but Logan is not at a place in his life where he can even contemplate a relationship. Logan had a difficult childhood, and now suffering from PTSD after his SEAL life, he is working hard to over come this. He doesn't know if he'll ever feel ready or safe enough to be with anyone. Sam and Logan do become close though. Sam sees inside Logan, she likes what she sees, and she will be there for him. With a little push, Logan starts to slowly gain some footing in his life again and starts to feel good again. But an unexpected threat and danger to Sam threatens to take not only her away, but what Logan felt like he was finally moving on from. Danger brings out the best, and the worst...Can Sam find the source of danger and stop it or will it be too late for either of them? Sam and Logan are so good together. The chemistry between them is unmistakable, they are so good for each other in so many ways, and it felt like this is a couple who are just meant to be together. I liked how they were with each other. I liked how Sam was with Logan, how she understood and she pushed when she had to. She wasn't scared of him, she was scared for him. He meant enough that she would wait for him, even though to Sam he is already whole, she knows he's hurting and suffering. I loved Sam. She is a unique character who felt real to me (I can easily think of people in my life who might be like her). As much as Her SEALed Fate is a romantic suspense, it is just as much, if not more so about Logan. His past, his present, his future. Lori's research on Logan's character and PTSD is obvious and shines through, making Logan a believable man. The struggles he has gone through in the past, the struggles he goes through now tore at my heart. Seeing how he coped, what he did, how he tried to overcome was such an emotional, heart wrenching experience for me. I felt a lot of hope for Logan as he took this healing journey. The danger that he and Sam face is a lot for Logan and a possible relationship, and he tries to back away. I liked what Lori did here in the story, if possible she just made me feel even more. There is no quick, easy fix and she demonstrated well what was happening in Logan's head as well as for Sam. The suspenseful part of the plot is well done. I liked that as the reader I knew what was going on, but the characters obviously did not know! This gave the bit of edge that steals your breath at times. There is so much woven seamlessly into the plot of Her SEALed Fate and Lori brought it all vividly to life. She kept me turning the pages with a perfect pace. Nothing felt rushed, just right. Her SEALed Fate is very well written, easy to follow, and well researched. A cast of secondary characters who fit in well and are meant to be here at this time complement Logan and Sam's story expertly. I really liked Sam's family! I liked the family dynamics around Logan and his father and how this was explored. The

I can't understand anyone stopping short of completing this story. It was AWESOME. The story is approx. 220 pages on my nook and can be read as a stand-alone or as part of the Sutton Capital series. I found the PTSD portrayal to be realistic based on second-hand knowledge. And if you can get through the story without some empathetic tears, well, you're a better person than I am. I don't like plot spoilers, so I'll just say that this has a solid plot/storyline, cybersleuthing, antiterrorism, romance, and an HEA all wrapped up neatly together. For once, the characters were all strong - no wishy-washy, vascillating, tentative character traits. A nice change from many such action-adventure romances. Finally, as to one reviewer's comments regarding "sex on the brain".....well, shoot. The guy is smoking hot and the girl is brave AND smart! Ha! What more do ya' want? Read it. Love it. You won't regret it. BTW, I am NOT related in any way to the industry, the author, nor did I get an advance copy. These are all just my little ole opinions. LGM

I really enjoyed the story and characters in this book but my Lab did not! I did not want to put the book down and I have never heard such sighing and huffs as a reminder it was playtime. I recommend this book as a good read.

This could have been the best book I'll never read, because of the sex on the brain descriptions and actions. I only got to page 19 and am calling it quits.

This was one of those books that is almost impossible to put down. The characters Sam and Logan are wonderful, quirky and strong. What's not to love about a hot retired seal and a brilliant young woman with no filter on her mouth!

It's hard to believe that this is the 7th book in the Sutton Capital Series; each one seems better than the last. The first book caught my eye during a book tour and I had such a good time with it that I have read the entire series! One of the things that I like most about these books is that although the series has explored some of the more popular romance tropes, such as the arranged marriage, friends to lovers, second chance at love, and even the bodyguard romance, each has been done in such a way that it feels fresh and new. In Her SEALed Fate, Logan is a newly discharged SEAL, who's friendship with Zack, (The Baker's Bodyguard) helped to land him a job at Sutton Capital. He is still dealing with some guilt from one of his final missions, as well as adjusting to civilian life. Samantha is head of IT as Sutton Capital. She has been instrumental in several key moments throughout the series. It was a joy to finally get to know the real Sam. Hint, she is even more awesome that I imagined. She's quirky, snarky, sassy and probably one of the smartest people in any room, though you would never know because she doesn't advertise the fact. Logan and Sam met during The Baker, the Bodyguard, and the Wedding Bell Blues, book 6. Their relationship grows slowly over time, getting to know each other, and taking their time. It's nice to have a couple actually have a base for their relationship before the action and danger start exploding around them. No false, "heat of the moment" for this couple. I think my favorite part of this book is that Logan and Sam each save each other multiple times. Not just physically, but emotionally. It created a nice balance in their relationship. Although this book is part of the series, if you haven't read the others, I think you would be okay reading this one as a stand alone. References are made to some events in prior books, but nothing that would detract from your enjoyment of this one. I had a great time with Logan and Sam and gave the book 5 stars. Special thanks to the author for the opportunity to read and review the book.

Great story. Loved how Sam did not think about what came out of her mouth. Her insecurities made her very human. Logan was perfectly flawed. Loved the addition of the dog.

I was gifted a copy by the author to advance read. This is an amazing story and by far my favorite of this series. I loved how the author approached the hero having issues with ajusting to being back in normal society afer being in the miltary for so long. The herione did a wonderful job of not making our hero feel bad cause he had issues. I loved how she researched how to help him deal with his issues. Will I will warn those that have PTSD to be aware there may be triggers in this book but it's so worth the read. I was aware and so didn't have any issues but could have it I hadnt know they were there. As both a Vet and a daughter of a vet I'm honored that the author donated so much of her profifts from this book to two awesome causes. The love story in this book will touch your heart and make you want to read the whole seires if you haven't read the other books. If you haven't read the other books don't worry you can read this one without reading them first, in fact I read the series in very strange order as I was late to it and was listening to the audio version for book 2 while I read reading the e version of book 3. Don't miss out on an amazing read grab this one and put in on your list of must reads if you love a good story like I do then this is a book you want
