She believes that great lessons can be learned through a simple story. She brings to the country the story-telling traditions of the wise elders and the culture of the people of Charleston where she still resides. She has performed her poetry and monologues at several local venues, churches, and organizations. Her passion is working to inspire others with her gifts.
She is a member of two writing groups and the Director of The Children of the Promise Royal Puppeteers at her church, Royal Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC.
She is a retired state of South Carolina employee where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for over 16 years. She is a graduate of Burke High School, Trident Technical College, La Parisianne Cosmetology Institute, and Morris College Extension School of Religion. She is married, a mother of two, and grandmother of two.
