I was asked to present a Book in form of a website.Initially I was thinking ok sell book format site to utilize element of content. But then as the work was initiated it took on it,s own direction just as the main character of the book. The site came to life each time elements and concepts were to be incorporated. The content of the book is only secondary to the motive behind it. When a website designer can bring a book to life that is an accomplishment. But when from the heart and soul, concerns and beliefs are expressed and brought to life from the Pen that is mighty. I got involved in the Story and reminded me of how precious Freedom is, at any level. This book also educated me to a whole world of Lorikeets, and Birds that I had no clue. The resources connected to the book are real and educational! Masterfully illustrated,Wholeheartedly written this book is a must.

I purchased a copy for me, and one for our granddaughter, because a Lorikeet had enriched our lives for many years. I am very impressed with the glorious illustrations and thought-provoking story. Our 7-year-old granddaughter is enchanted with the book too - the vivid colors are so attractive, and she is now reading the story. Apart from its beauty, there's an important message in this book about the need for compassion and knowledge, for parrots whose beauty and intelligence have also made them victims of exploitation.

This book is great for all animal lovers, children as well as adults. I cried and laughed while reading the book. I love that it teaches animal welfare and I agree the book should be available in schools and libraries all over the country.

This book is simply amazing. It exposes the tragic situation of parrots trapped and removed from their natural habitat and the detrimental consequences of keeping them as pets in cages without the proper knowledge and understanding re: their needs and care requirements. Kudos to Mira for her writing, passion and tireless efforts on this project and to Lisa for her outstanding and brilliant illustrations. I hope this book will get widespread exposure for these beautiful, intelligent and affectionate birds and their plight.

I received my copy of 'Here, There, and Everywhere' and just love it! As a parrot owner I feel it is important for the world to understand these brilliant animals and give them the respect they deserve. A must have for any family or library!

Here, There and Everywhere is 'a masterpiece' that should be in every 'library, school and home' just as Dr. Jane Goodall says in her introduction to the book. The characters are great, the story is fascinating, funny, and informative. Most of all it teaches children about the world around them and the values needed to live sustainably in it. I am a parent of two children and I highly recommend this book to other parents and to anyone who cares to own a 'masterpiece.' Marvin, New York City

This book captures the parrot trade in an easy to understand story that kids and adults will 'get.' Well written and to the point, the artwork is beautiful -- unlike any other children's book I've seen -- the colors and imagery are so vibrant and animated they seem to pop off the page! This is a must read, sure to become a classic in children's literature.

I read 'Here, There and Everywhere' to my 4-year-old daughter and she loved it -- we both did. Sreeeet is a lorikeet who is captured and taken from his home and family and ends up with an apartment-dwelling family in New York. The story, told from Sreeeet's point of view, explains why parrots are unhappy in captivity, and why they behave the way they do when trapped. My daughter and I learned about something we see every day -- the brightly colored parrots in the neighborhood pet store. They are no longer just another animal to look at and then walk by. In addition, this is just a good story. We laughed at the funny parts, swooned at the beautiful parts, and couldn't wait to see how it ended. My daughter asked me to please read it to her again the next night, and I did.
