Hide and Seek is his accountbased on unparalleled access to Iraqi leadership, the White House, and the CIAof the long and tragic unraveling of the U.S. relationship with Iraq. This book sees beyond the propaganda and deceits of both sides to tell the story of the miscalculations in assessing Iraq as a threat, why Saddam responded as he did to U.S. demands, and precisely how the U.S. implemented its decision to topple Saddam's regime. No one is better able than Duelfer to see inside the mindsets of the two administrations, with their mismatched priorities, wounded pride, and dangerous ability to bluff and counterbluff.

Horrible book. Author seems to have studied at the Al Gore school of book writing as he strays off topic and down rabbit trails that provide little value. The ebook is riddled with errors of punctuation, spelling, hyphenation. So much so that these distract from the flow of reading. Seems like the book was scanned using poor quality optical character recognition software that generated these errors, and the editorial staff was lazy enough to not check. Result is a poor quality product for readers. Wish I could return to get my money back.
