Olivia is set on living her own life, finding new adventures, and seeing the world. She doesn't need anyone—not Thomas, or anyone else. She's learned from her mistakes in the past and she's serious about looking to the future. When Julie comes to visit and invites her on a Mediterranean cruise, Olivia closes her eyes and jumps at the opportunity.
Thomas is carrying on with his life, too. He's still in love with Olivia but he can't hold onto her forever if she's not interested in a relationship. Instead, he focuses on expanding his business internationally. He starts a partnership with a Spanish beauty who offers him a new cruise line idea he can't refuse.
By a bizarre twist of fate, the two of them end up on the same cruise ship. Again. It's as if the gods of love are playing a crazy game. The partner Thomas has aligned with is trouble. She'll do anything to make Thomas her own.
