SPELLBINDING PASSIONATE HIGHLANDER ROMANCE!! Donna Fletcher has earned a permanent place on my favorite treasure list. If an author is on this list I auto buy any new releases as soon as they become available. Her books are placed on my keeper read and reread shelf. Donna Fletcher is among of the best authors a reader will have the honor of reading. Highlander’s Rescue is a continuation of Cree and Dawn’s story, from The Highlander Trilogy. It is awesome to get to again visit characters we have met before. To visit and see how they are doing and what is happening in their life. This author writes complete romance, filled with unexpected hot, steamy passion between the characters, disagreements, mystery, laughter, tenderness, strength, and eventually trust beyond question. Wintra, Cree’s sister, is expecting her first child. Cree and Dawn are preparing to leave for their visit to Wintra when Wintra’s husband Torr arrives looking for his wife. He explains that he came home to discover that Wintra had unexpectedly left their home just before a snowstorm. He tried to follow her but was forced to take shelter during the storm. Cree is very upset with Torr for not protecting his sister. The three have to wonder, what has happened and where on earth is Wintra? These characters pull the reader into their world and make them a part of the story. Their entire story is an awesome, memorable page turning keeper shelf series. Filled with strong highlander men, feisty ladies, passion, love, kidnapping, danger, and secrets this story keeps the reader sighing when they finish yet wanting more. I highly recommend this book and anything else written by Donna Fletcher.

Cree and Dawn are by far my favorite characters that Donna Fletcher writes about. I look forward to each short story that is added for them. In this story we find it is time for Wintra to have her baby. Afraid that Dawn will not be there in time she sets out to come to Cree and Dawn's home to birth her first child. However on the way she suddenly disappears without a trace. Dawn is excited to be leaving to go help tend Wintra in the birth of her first child. When the morning arrives for them to leave she is eager to begin her journey, however before they can leave the keep Torr shows up looking for his wife. Cree, Dawn, and Torr quickly come up with a plan to search for their missing loved one. As they search for Wintra on the path that she would have taken they are quickly frustrated to find little to go on. When they come across an elderly man who points them towards a run down keep, they can only pray that they are in time to help Wintra and her bairn. With plenty of twists and turns you find yourself loving every minute of the interaction between these beloved characters. Another great tale for Cree and Dawn. Once again I am left looking forward to their next adventure.

Fun, Fast Read! Highlander's Rescue by Donna Fletcher, is the fourth short story featuring Cree and Down from her “Highlander Trilogy”. Full disclosure, I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review I really enjoy Cree and Dawn. I love the characters, I love their flaws, and I love how they truly love each other. I have enjoyed all of the stories about them, the full length novels and the short stories. I also really enjoy Torr and Wintra for similar reasons… With that being said, I did enjoy the “Highlander’s Rescue” however I am not sure how realistic a pregnant woman who is near birth sneak out on her own just prior to birth rather than waiting for a few days to leave with her husband. Having read previous stories, Wintra is strong and independent, but I am not sure even with pregnancy hormones she would think that is a good idea. However, it is a great story, full of action, surprising twists, romance and everything else I come to expect from a Donna Fletcher story. My rating would be 3.5 stars, better than the average story, but not quite as good as the other short stories and novels featuring these characters.

Donna Fletcher gives us another short story about Cree & Dawn..... As always you have to love Cree & Dawn and their adventures. This one takes you along with the soon to be birth of Cree sister Wintra, who Dawn has promised to help deliver. But Wintra is impatient for Dawn & Cree to arrive and sets out on her own and disappears. Join Cree & Dawn and Wintra husband Torr search for her. Can't wait for the next story about Dawn & Cree to come out. I was provided a ARC for an honest review. I would have read the book even without the ARC

Highlander's Rescue A Cree & Dawn Short Story (Cree & Dawn #4) by Donna Fletcher is another exciting Medieval Historical Romance. Set against a Scottish Highland background. I would suggest reading the entire series, and follow Cree & Dawn's family adventures. Fast paced, adventure driven tale which embraces family, loyalty, danger and love. When you read this story be prepared for love, passion and of course a bit of fighting to protect the innocent and save their loved ones, to the death, if necessary. I enjoy the interplay between Cree and Dawn, their love for each other and their families, flow off the pages. Trying to locate Cree’s sister, Wintra, who is on the verge of delivering her and Torr's first child, and has gone missing. Dawn, Cree, and Torr, encounter a snowstorm, danger, kidnapping, betrayal, secrets, more than one person kept prisoner, including, Wintra and another Lady whose about to give birth, who many wish her and her unborn bairn's demise. Wintra stumbles upon the danger, which now endangers herself and her unborne bairn, as well. Dawn enters the keep to help one lady but also stumbles upon an unexpected danger. A double rescue, to ensure that not one but two ladies and their unborn bairn's safety, including an entire kept. An awesome Medieval Romance! Readers can't help but fall in love with the enchanting Dawn, Cree, Wintra, and Torr. They each have such devotion, loyalty, are strong willed, the lasses are feisty, and the Heroes are strong protective and dangerous. A must read Family saga, with an epic love storie! A true treasure! Ms. Fletcher is a masterful storyteller, whose stories are epic, endearing, engaging and lingers for a while, after the last page. Readers of Historical Romance, Highlanders, alpha males and feisty Lasses are sure to enjoy this enduring and entertaining family. Very enjoyable and very satisfying! I look forward to the next Cree & Dawn adventure. Another must read Highland Adventure! Received for an honest review from the author. Rating: 4.5 Heat rating: Mild Reviewed by: AprilR

I received an ARC from the author for my honest review. I have to say that I really enjoyed reading Cree and Dawn's continued story about their family. Cree's sister Wintra is soon to have her first baby and she wants to have Dawn with her when the time comes, but being a little headstrong ( a family trait) she is Crees's sister after all , decides to go to them instead . Wintra never got to Dawn and Cree's home. Her husband Torr is crazy with worry when he realized that she's nowhere to be found! With the help of Cree and Dawn they set out to find her before the baby is born . Their journey takes them into a snowstorm, and they soon seek shelter in an abandoned home with only a few tenants to maintain the home. The three of them know that Wintra is inside after seeing her horse in the stable. They were denied entrance in the house by some unsavoury men who look to be bandits, This is a fast paced read with lots of twists and a plot for murder which I didn't expect, it really had me guessing!! Donna Fletcher really knows how to keep you entertained till the last page, I love her writing style and recommend her books, she never disappoints to keep you entertained!!!
