If you haven't read one of Joanne Wadsworth's books, you are missing hot, sexy Highlanders who have a lot of passion. Coll MacKenzie has returned home to Carron Castle after gathering more warriors to protect his clan. He left as Fiona was marrying Matthew (widower) and he was engaged to Kyla. However, things have changed within the 16 months that has passed as Matthew passed away and Kyla married her soul mate, Duncan, who is Coll's twin brother. Coll now has been arranged marriage contact to Elizabeth MacRaes to strengthen the clan lands as he doesn't know that Matthew died leaving Fiona free. Fiona knows she is Coll's soul mate and now she must make him realize it. Coll doesn't know Fiona is within the castle and starts fantasying making love to her. Fiona is right next door as she hears moans and decides to check it out. This is the beginning of a very passionate dream so Coll thinks, but Fiona knows differently. Since Coll refuses to acknowledge the soul bond, Fiona must make him chase her. Does Coll catch up with her and gives into the passionate that has ignited between them? What about Elizabeth and his arranged marriage contract? I love how Joanne weaves a story of love and passion with the element of danger. This is a must read and I highly recommend it. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. Series: The Fae Series, but can be read as standalone Characters: Alpha males with strong female characters Writing: Smooth and developed Heat: Sizzling 5 Koala Paws

This is the third in the series. Fiona and Coll have known each other a long time, being friends. After some time apart, they are thrown together again. Fiona realizes they are soul bound and tries to convince Coll. His duty to clan may come first. Coll has such a strong sense of duty and is almost willing to give up his own happiness for it. Fiona is fun and determined to have what is hers. I really enjoyed this book. I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Highlander's Touch by Joanne Wadsworth is an entertaining read. This is a fairly quick read, a perfect choice for those with limited time for reading. Ms Wadsworth has again delivered a well written book. I love that she incorporates characters from previous books into the present book, it's like visiting old friends. Coll and Fiona's story is fast paced and full of drama, humor and paranormal hijinks. I enjoyed Highlander's Touch and look forward to my next book by Joanne Wadsworth. Highlander's Touch is book 3 of The Fae Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I received a copy of this book for review purposes.

I picked up a freebie from this author last month, and oh wow, I love her books. I couldn't wait to read Coll and Fiona's story and this one is a keeper too. This is a Highlander romance with stacks of fantasy and adventure. I love the element of the fae being woven in as well. Delicious chemistry too.

Coll MacKenzie refuses to acknowledge Fiona is his soul bound mate. As the Laird of Carron Castle, he wants to strength his clan's bonds with the MacRaes. A contract has been signed and now he's honor bound to wed Elizabeth MacRae. He let Fiona wed another once before to keep her safe. Now she's widowed and living in his own household. Coll is drawn to her like a moth to a flame, but for his clan will he reject his fiery empathy a second time? Not if Fiona can has any say. She will make him see they are bonded. I loved these stubborn and determined Fae-blooded characters. Their battle of wills is amazing. Coll tells Fiona that she's his dearest friend. He refuses to acknowledge their bond. Cherub, the Fae Princess, will make sure they are together. Coll has to be the most stubborn Highlander that I've met. He won't give in. When Fiona runs away, he can't let her go and the chase begins. I needed to know how these two would get their HEA. Fiona is a sweet yet feisty heroine. Coll is a stubborn Highlander. He's determined to keep her safe. I knew that there would be fireworks. The beauty of the Highlands is a perfect setting for this wonderful romance. I enjoyed the spirited dialogue between Fiona and Coll. An added bonus is catching up with familiar characters from previous stories. It's good to see family and friends that love and support them. Highlander's Touch has a hero and heroine that I can root for. The plot, the romance and the paranormal element made for a great story. I always enjoy reading Joanne Wadsworth. I received a copy in exchange for an honest and unscripted review.
