HIGHWAY 24...this is my very first Jeff Chapman read.  Tense...that's one word that describes Jeff Chapman's story with edge of your seat, minute by minute story. This is a short...must read page-turner.  You climb into the panciky mindset...I mean seriously...who among us would've believed a vision in pink could be so mind-blowing? HIGHWAY 24...short...powerful...a must read...and goooood...sooooo very goood! Five Stars and a plea for Mr. Chapman to keep up the hair-raising work

This was a goooooood ghost story. The kind I remember the camp leaders telling us when we were little and scaring the mess out of us. I know when I take my kids camping I'm going to retell this story to get them.

A tragic accident on rural Highway 24 sends Paul down a dark road of his own mind. The victim, a green-eyed girl in a pink prom dress, leaves behind a single shoe...a relic that won't go away no matter how hard Paul tries to get rid of it. To find out what forces are really behind this haunting, Paul must discover what really happened out there on Highway 24, even if that means taking a detour to the girl's hometown and facing the terrifying truth of the accident. Jeff Chapman's Highway 24 was exactly how I love my ghost stories: a creepy tale I imagined being told on a dark night over a campfire. As the story unfolded, each detail sent a tingle up my spine until I reached a full on chill. Never resorting to cheap horror-movie gore, the author created such a sense of atmosphere. I felt like I was there out on that road with Paul, experiencing all his emotions. And, well, as I neared the climax, the story took me to a dark place that had me both horrified to see how it ended and entranced to find out what was to come.
