About the Author
Matthew Harper is an inmate in a Virginia correctional institution where he works as a chaplain's assistant and a therapy dog trainer. While incarcerated, he completed an M.A. in Christian Theology from Catholic Distance University and is in the discernment process for ordination in the Episcopal Church. He is the author of "Different Shoes, A Common Path," a Lenten devotional, and frequently writes for "Prisoner to Prisoner" and "Prison Lectionary."
