About the Author

Paul Kater was born in the Netherlands in 1960. He quickly developed a feel for languages but did not pursue a career in those as his native language, Dutch, did not offer many options in that time. After learning far too much about computers he started to make a living with them. During all that time he always wrote short stories, little things to entertain family and friends and also himself with.Since 2003 he's been writing more seriously, first posting his scribblings on an amateur writer's mailing list, and then publishing shorter and longer stories on the internet. Due to the international character of the Internet, all Paul's stories so far are written in English.Paul currently lives in Cuijk, in the Netherlands, with his two cats, his books and the many characters he's developed in the past years, who claim he is a figment of their imagination.Visit the author at paulkater.com

This is the fourth in the "Hilda" series and as with the other 3 it does not disappoint. Kater is right on with providing interesting entertainment and sheer reading enjoyment. As an adult lover of witches, wizards and such, I find these books on a level that will not shock or offend the reader. The real gift of these books are that they are free, so take the time for good reading pleasure. Looking forword to more of "Hilda" from Paul Kater. Enjoy...

I thoight this book was very funny. Its a new take on on old story. The first book in this series that I read was Helda and Snow White. And I'm sure that I will read the rest of the Helda books.

After reading the first three books of the series this is a great story. The characters have developed nicely and the addition of Zelda makes an interesting turn of events. William and Hilda find that there is a disturbance around William's truck from his world. The pair head into the black void and find themselves in William's world. Zelda is wreaking havoc all over the place. William and Hilda find themselves involved in serious protective magic as Zelda tries to kill them.

Like the characters, but the lack of proper editing took me out of the story several times. Author uses wrong character name on several occasions in the book, mixing up Hilda and Zelda. Needed to be reread and edited before published.

Yo, my name is Link. Yea, i'm more well known then Lil' Wayne. Oh, you thought my name was Zelda? Thats a f*ckin' girl's name! I saved the world like fifteen times, i saved the Princess from demise. And i do it all alone with no help and no advise. "Hey, you, listen!" Hey, listen you f*ckin' annoying fairy. I'd rather have to listen to constent Katy Perry. I think it's time i got some recognition, don't you think? Legend of Zelda? Screw that! Legend of Link! (Cause he's the L to the I to the N to the K. Wears tights every day, don't give a dam what you say. Got bigger balls then even Evil Canivil.) I'll break all your pots and i best not hear your b*tchin'. I've got the Triforce of Courage, b*tch! So you better listen! Thats right! I'm called the bushwhacker and my bank account's maxed out. Got 999 rupees and my leather wallet's pack now. Can't back down. Can't slack now. The world needs me to attack now. Yet, i'm forced to pay out the a**, for these bombs in Castle Town. Just give me some heart containers and let me spit on my Ocarina. So i can kick that dumba**, Ganon, all the way to Argentina! (L to te I to the N to te K. Wears tights every day don't give a dam what you say. Got bigger balls then even Evil Canivil and he ain't gonna stop until the world free of evil.) "Yo, you low-life elf need a ride up to the North Pole? Santa's got a thing for elves; gettin' his marrage annoled. You really think saving the Princess will convince me your straight? The Uggs and skirt fad is so 2008." Oh, snap, it's Ganondorf tryin' to jock out my style. Batman's cape? Lincon's beard? Were you dressed by a child? And don't you think kidnapping helpless princesses gets a little bit old? "You think Zelda's stupid enough to get kidnapped so offten? She comes to my Castle and begs to be locked in!" You're a ginger with no soul and you look like a f*ckin' troll! I think it's time i teach you a leasson. You're gonna get schooled!
