I'm developing a love-hate relationship with Hilda. This is now my fourth Hilda book and by far my favorite. While I'm routing for the police to catch this psychotic serial killer, who has truly bizarre rationalizations for her killings, I also don't want the stories to end because they are fascinating. I'm only glad that Hilda is not my grandmother!

After escaping from the law once again, Hilda lands on her feet, this time doing her thing for the government. I liked this turn of events because there are only so many people a machine knitting serial killer can do away with before you start to not like her... Now she does her thing for the government it adds a new dimension to Hilda.
