L.P. Love, born Shauna Lynne Willis, is the youngest of five children, raised in a single-parent home. At the age of ten, she began writing poetry as an outlet. As she grew older, she was able to share her thoughts and writing with others, becoming an experienced spoken-word artist, as well as songwriter. This collection of poems chronicles L.P. Love's journey to become a young woman who has accepted herself. It is a book that examines the state of consciousness in the world's people, all while poetically delivering the feelings of today's youth. L.P. incorporates humor into topics of spirituality, self-love, romantic relationships, and becoming one's best self. These poems are set to the rhythm of deep emotions and piercing intellect, and are meant to spark individual thought, and ask the readers questions about their own lives. This is a book that reaches well beyond rhyming schemes and clever words, to the spirit of the reader. Within every poem you will find the meaning of Hill of Feathers.
