About the Author

Silence O’Shea lives in a tiny woodland town in the extreme Northern U.S., where the citizens like to consider themselves too pious and upright for matters of the flesh, beyond that which is needed to procreate. In reality, the lust-filled locals generate enough heat to melt the polar ice caps. As in any good Catholic town, dirty deeds are afoot behind closed doors, under the dark cloak of long winter nights. Some people just have to share their exploits—and Silence is a superb and trusted listener. She’ll never spill anyone’s secrets, but that doesn’t mean she can’t use the naughtiest bits and most colorful characters as inspiration for her work.

Silence is a lifelong reader and newbie author, and as such, is open to any and all input from fellow booklovers. If you like her work, please let her know. If you weren’t overly fond of a story or character or setting, etc., have advice or suggestions, or would like to see her try a particular something, by all means, drop her a line. She’s a friendly sort who wants to hear from everyone. And again…a great listener. ;)

Humor and sex together in one package! On first glance, this lusty romp seems like another sex fest – yes, there’s lots of that – but underneath is a man discovering what is really important when it comes to relationships.  On the surface, Mike Jasper has it all.  Too bad he’s clueless when it comes to women.  Yes, he’s a jerk but not in a deliberate, selfish way. He’s more oblivious than anything. He has honestly just never thought about what women really want or need beyond the superficial.  His faithful, staid, buttoned up assistant Ellen provides lessons to help him learn.  After he gets over the shock between her office and after hours personas (remember oblivious?), he discovers several profound truths that shake up his view of the opposite sex.  My favorite: “When it comes to knowing someone’s heart, turns out sex isn’t’ personal enough.” The descriptions in the book where Ellen is ‘instructing’ him are laugh out loud funny.  Mike has quite a psychological relationship with his anatomy and his assessment of Ellen’s ‘hair’ had me in tears.  Read the book to find out what I mean!  It is most definitely an adult only novel with its graphic details but does not cross over into smutty. The story moves quickly and is a lighthearted, easy read that will amuse and arouse you. Definitely an author I would read again!
