I didn't read this with the expectation that this would be a book I'd remember - and I was right - but I DID expect a book that you have to pay for to have been proofread for grammatical errors. WRONG! From a million unnecessary commas to mistakes in basic grammar, this looked like it was written by someone with a middle-school education... except there would be entire paragraphs with REALLY big words (insert eye roll) that tried to convince me otherwise. Again, I wasn't expecting "high literature" but if I was the publisher, I'd be ashamed.

I was curious about this book. This is a lesson learned. Don't purchase a Nook book when sitting in B&N without a good jolt of coffee. Sorry but the story was sloppy. Not worth the money...save the money and buy a coffee instead.

The begining story line is weak but it does become stronger as the story goes on and the characters become more real.

When you pick this book up, you won't put it down until you either force yourself to, or you finish it. This is definitely going to be a more than one time "read"

Love this story. Keep coming back to it. All was not nice in the old days, historical heros/alphas were not all saints and often wondered what happened to women who were not royal and damsels like every other pink historical romance. This could've happened realistically and so many other girls who had no choices but finding a champion to safe their life. The characters were perfect example. The emotional roller coaster! Young people who don't know if they will live the next day, full of hormones, primal humanity, educated just by hearsay, just hoping for survival. I hope the author comes up with more of them. Gave it a five cause the story needed to be filled out more, maybe even worth a series

This is a very good story! It ws well worth the 3.99 that I paid for it. This is coming from a 30 year veteran reader of all types of romance novels. I highly recommend it! I loved the brave hero and the equally courgeous heroine. He is a true knight! He does everrthing in his power to protect the heroine in times when a man had to worry about loosing his head! I cant understand why anyone would not like this story! Guess some people are just hard to please.

short and the writing is kind of slack. Don't pay too much.
