About the Author

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Anya grew up listening to Cardinals baseball and reading anything she could get her hands on. She remembers her mother saying if only she would read the right type of books instead binging her way through the romance aisles at the bookstore, she’d have been a doctor. While Anya never did get that doctorate, she graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a M.A. in History.

Anya is a Bestselling and Award-Winning Author published in multiple fiction genres. She also writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance under the name, Maggie Mae Gallagher. A total geek at her core, when she is not writing, she adores attending the latest comic con or spending time with her family. She currently lives in the midwest with her two furry felines.

The third book in the Cuff and Spurs saga will read as a stand-alone. While the BDSM club, Cuffs and Spurs will have a role in the story, it is more around the Black Elkhorn Lodge and Restaurant, run by brothers, Cole and Mason Steward, and the newly hired chef, Emily Fox from Los Angeles. The Stewart brothers are up the proverbial creek after they last chef, Claire, embezzled several million dollars, and now they are in a bind, but without the restaurant open, they are losing guest and bookings. Hiring a new chef is a risk they must take, but they must keep this a working relationship only. Chef Emily Fox will leave Los Angeles after her nasty publicized departure from her job where her boss, the head Chef tries to take credit for all of her signature dishes that pulled his failing restaurant out of the gutter and made it a hit. Her family isn’t happy with her choice of careers and have never offered her support. Her mother is insistent that she come to work with her in real estate, but all Emily wants to do is create food dishes and make people happy. Mason Stewart blames himself for the mess they are in with Black Elkhorn Lodge, the restaurant is closed, and their creditors need to be paid. Getting involved with Claire and not keeping an eye on what all she was doing falls on him, not his brother, Cole. Bringing in another chef will help them keep reservations because they are losing too many nothing having it opened to their guest. But he needs to keep this a business relationship, and not let it get personal. The plot will have Emily showing up to start her job, and while Cole is kind, Mason is angry. He wants to throw in all kinds of new stipulations on her employment. But she isn’t one who just backs down, and she can give it back to him as fast as he dishes it out to her. There is so many tête-à-têtes between them, and yet deep down, there is an underlying attraction. But Mason can’t afford to mess this up; he owes it to Cole and himself to put business first. With Emily in charge of the kitchen, with her creative dishes, the guest are happy, the staff is happy, and the receipts are proving she is making a difference and that keeps the brothers happy. Emily is allowed to do what she loves, create enticing dishes and please the palate of the guest. But what happens when she and Mason come to a head. They have danced around a sexual attraction that just sizzles below the surface. When they finally succumb to their passion, it is explosive. But not everyone will be happy with this relationship; it can only spell disaster for the business. Emily comes up with several creative ways to promote the restaurant and the lodge and not only are the ideas; she has the business sense to place her proposals on paper and show how they will work. Can her business sense, along with her delicate dishes help save the business from failure? The story also is the introduction of Emily into a submissive role in a D/s relationship with Mason. They have the chemistry, the passion, and they can no longer deny what is going on between them. Mason wants to help her on this journey, and she consents to his dominance. The story has plenty of angst, some secrets, some omission of information, passion, anger, exploration, and new beginnings. There are mild BDSM scenes, introduction into a D/s relationship, bondage, and explicit sex scenes.

A great beginning for a spinoff of a spinoff. The first book in this is his unexpected love, his scandalous love is the next book and then there's this one. I can't wait for more of this series, I want to say more about this story but I absolutely hate spoilers, so I won't go into details. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Wonderful characters, Page-turner, Great world building, Unpredictable, Original, Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Sexually Action-packed, Steamy. Bookshelves/tags: adult, bdsm, bondage, club, contemporary, dom-sub, humorous, romance, series, spanking, suspense, western. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is one of the best stories I have read on BDSM. It has heart, loss, pride, love and totally emotional that you may cry. Mason and his brother Cole are owners of a lodge in Wyoming. They are in dire straits because the last cook embezzled two million from them. The lodge is in trouble and losing business. One concern is to get their restaurant up again and they find a cordon bleu cook, Emily. One look at her and she rattles Mason like nothing before. He can;t think of anything except making her his sub. Emily is a red head and has the temper to match and her and Mason tend to get into it. One night she inadvertently goes downstairs at the local watering hole and when caught by Mason he tells her she;s to get out and stay out. There are some heated words and she stomps off. Needless to say, that gets the Dom in Mason riled. Life just got interesting for Emily and becomes an eye opener for Mason. Fantastic story and read!! Four and a half stars, I enjoyed this book very much. I am definitely going to read book one and two. Maybe there will be book four for Cole? Emily is definitely a girl who knows what she wants to do with her life. Mason is mired in guilt. They make an interesting pair. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Their chef has taken everything from them and they need help fast so they hide a chef unseen. What they didn't expect was her. She is a handful for him and he wants her in a way he can't as he is her boss. Will they do it? Maybe I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really loved this fun, emotional, and very hot BDSM read. Mason and Emily are complex characters and they have an intense attraction and scorching chemistry. The sparks fly as these two spar over each and everything they can while trying to resist their feelings for each other. With a well written story, that has plenty drama, emotions, intensity, and passion. As Mason struggles with regrets, guilt, trust issues, and his need for control, Emily struggles with becoming the chef she dreams of being, moving past her parents disapproval, learning to let go. I enjoyed this book very much.

Cooking Up Some Fun! He's made a serious mistake, & because of it, his Lodge is on the brink of disaster... NOW, He's unwilling, unable, & downright resistant to trust himself or anyone else for that matter ever again... After ALL, everyone says, burned once shame's on you, but if you're burned twice... More the FOOL YOU! Guess his Se*y new chef hasn't heard that before because she's there to Spice the Lodge up & HEAT up MORE than the Kitchen... She's ready for some serious Roots... Yes, I'm talking the ones going beyond Ginger! Will these two come together & mix up a perfect batch of biscuits or will their temperature fizzle out leaving a sodden mess behind! I was granted an ARC of Anya Summers' "His Wicked Love" via Booksprout. Anya's a talented author. I always enjoy reading & rereading her books, & I've been enjoying this new branch also; therefore, I gladly recommend this book & her others as well based upon their own merits. Her books definitely provide wonderful Reading Rabbit holes full of spectacular reading!! Anya's books are definitely books you'll read, Reread, & then READ again several times Over & not tire of... I know I have. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given. Until next time... Happy Reading!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. Mason and his brother run a Lodge and Resort and when Emily the new chef shows up, Dom Mason is intrigued. Emily didn't come there to explore the BDSM world, but after meeting and clashing with the strong, dominant Mason, perhaps it's inevitable. Spanking, clamps, bondage, anal.

Another enjoyable book in the Cuffs and Spurs Series. Mason and Emily are both people with a past of problems and issues, and they meet when she goes to work for his ranch as a cook. Both are interesting, ambitious and intelligent – and the affair that develops is warm and believable. As a dom, Mason is straight forward and caring – and Emily learns to love being a submissive. There are problems along the way, but these two wonderful people end up with an HEA.

His Wicked Love is a wonderful addition to the Cuffs and Spurs series. The storyline is believable and interesting and the characters are developed and opinionated. Emily the new chef and Mason one of the owners of the Elkhorn Lodge play a cat and mouse game with chemistry that is off the charts. However, learning to trust after being hurt can be a challenge. With a lot of fun, love, spanking, erotic sex, a roller coaster ride of emotions and some twists and turns within this story it is a must read 5 star book! I highly recommend reading this great addition to the series and can't wait to read the next book. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book.

Emily needs this job, but she's not about to give up control of her kitchen, regardless of the way Mason melts her from the inside out with just one glance. Mason is determined to stay away from this chef, especially after his dalliance with the previous chef nearly destroyed the business. But the power of love, fueled by their red-hot chemistry, won't let them ignore the way they were made for each other. This is another steamy romance from one of my favorite BDSM authors. Mason struggles with trust, while Emily struggles with giving up control. Their romance was anything but smooth sailing, making this book a highly enjoyable read with plenty of intense scenes and a smattering of clever humor. Mason is just enough of a caveman to explain his reticence, especially in discussing his mistakes, and Emily is full of sass and common sense, more than willing to stand up for what she believes in and not the least bit afraid to poke the Mason-bear when necessary. I love the combination of cowboys and D/s relationships, and I appreciate that the writing is intelligent, the characters are complex, and the overall setting and secondary characters work together beautifully. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
