Terrific collection of historical fiction ghost stories. The settings run the gamut from ancient Egypt to Iwo Jima, to the Battle of Hastings to Colonial New England. Main characters range from Helen Keller to Jimmy Hoffa to John Lennon. I really enjoyed the writing, and the variety. Andre Norton is always a favorite, and I would also single out Donald Bingle and Michael Stackpole as special as well. There is sadness, humor, and horror to be found here. Good book
