Dangerous Intersection Ahead...

Marketing analyst Becca Daniels has a life that looks good on paper. A coveted promotion in an exciting new city and a successful, handsome fiancé. But with her Hawaiian honeymoon fast approaching, she has to face her biggest fear...water. She can't swim. On her way to her first swimming lesson, however, she veers left instead of right and nearly runs over her hot, new swim instructor.

Caution: Rising Waters...

Liam Caldwell has put his life on hold to look after his sick mother. The last thing he needs is the hit-and-run brunette who ruined his motorcycle disrupting the adult swim class. But from the first lesson, he realizes there's more to the curvy, smart-mouthed Becca than meets the eye, and no matter what he does, he can't resist her luscious lips and her driving determination.

No U-turn...

With each lesson, Becca discovers that what looks good on paper isn't making her happy. Should she play it safe in the shallow end with her career and fiancé? Or should she dive into deep waters with a man who offers passion and freedom like she's never imagined?

About the Author

USA Today Bestselling Author Nana Malone’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick-butt heroines ever since.

With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before Nana started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana meantime works out her drama, passion, and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick-butt as she thinks she is.

Nana is the author of twenty novels. The books in her series have been on multiple Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble bestseller lists as well as the iTunes Breakout Books list and most notably the USA Today Bestseller list.

USA TODAY Bestselling Author Misty Evans has published over twenty novels and writes romantic suspense, urban fantasy, and paranormal romance. As a writing coach, she helps other authors bring their books – and their dreams of being published – to life.

Misty likes her coffee black, her conspiracy stories juicy, and her wicked characters dressed in couture. When not reading or writing, she enjoys music, movies, and hanging out with her husband, twin sons, and two spoiled dogs. Learn more and sign up for her newsletter at www.readmistyevans.com. Swimming That is what brought Liam & Becca together. Becca's ex fiancée decided their while wedding around the wedding & honeymoon in Hawaii for the Iron Man. One big problem. Becca is deadly afraid of swimming and water. Can the swim instructor do more than teach her how to swim.

The Hit & Run Bride by Nana Malone and Misty Evans is a fast paced, fun read. Ms Malone and Ms Evans have created a story that is full of drama, humor and spice. The characters in The Hit & Run Bride are totally lovable and my favorite part of the book. Becca and Liam's story has been the highlight of my reading adventures this week. I enjoyed The Hit & Run Bride and look forward to reading more from Nana Malone and Misty Evans in the future. The Hit & Run Bride is book 1 of the Hit Wedding Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.  I loved this book!  Once I started it I couldn't put it down.  One thing that I have loved about Nana's books in the past is how fully attached I get to all the characters, not just the main characters.  Nana and Misty did not disappoint me in Hit & Run Bride.  Not only did I love Liam and Becca but I fully enjoyed reading about the supporting characters.  I cannot wait for another book in the Hit & Run Bride series!

Hit & Run Bride is a sweet contemporary romance. I loved the fact that Becca is a curvy heroine; is anyone else out there tired of reading about all those heroines with tiny waists? Give me a heroine who can appreciate the health benefits of a dark chocolate Snickers any day! (Because of course they're healthy, right? They're dark chocolate! Plus, the peanut and a half that fit into the bite-sized ones have protein as well--bonus!) Becca and Liam have a two-part meet cute (part one: an altercation in the club parking lot...part two: he's her swim instructor ten minutes later) that started the novel off on its lighthearted way. Hit & Run Bride has a very chick-lit feel to it which made it a lot of fun to read--the meet cute, the quirky and supportive best friend, the heroine's job issues and relationship struggles with the oh-so-obviously wrong guy--they're all here. Some of my favorite parts in this novel took place in the water--clearly, it is Liam's element, and he does all he can to make others feel as comfortable in it as he does. Whether he's coaxing reluctant swimmers--adult or children--into the water, spotting Olympic possibilities, or giving Becca "privates" (her name for private swim lessons--though at least one of them wasn't private enough...can you say awkward?), he really shone in the water. Plus, water does tend to accent all those lovely swimmer's muscles. But I digress... Hit & Run Bride was a fairly short, slighty steamy read about a woman finding her place in the world and finding a guy who will really take the time to know her. She's a bit fashion-obsessed and very anti-exercise (the "inner sanctum of lost gym equipment" scene was particularly cute) and throughout the novel gains the confidence to stand up for what she wants and needs. She and Liam make for a great couple and an entertaining read. The issues are resolved in a way that has an almost too-good-to-be-true feel to it, but it went along nicely with the overall vibe of the book and really didn't bother me at all. I'd definitely be interested in reading more from both of these authors in the future. Rating: 4 stars / B+ I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

My Review 4.5 Star Review – Hit & Run Bride I recommend this book. Becca is engaged to a handsome man who does not really know her. She can't swim and her honeymoon is all about things to do with the water. She needs swimming lessons like right now!! Liam is HOT and totally the opposite of her fiancé as he seems to really get her. He understands what makes her tick. After deciding to end it with the fiancé she takes a risk and falls for Liam. What will happen when her fiancé comes back into the picture and wants her back. Will she choose the guy who does not know her but looks great on paper? Or Will she choose the guy who totally gets her? Or Will a betrayal come between her and both the men?

Becca Daniels is new to San Diego. She moved here to work for Dive Sportswear. She doesn't feel comfortable with the California life style. Now that she is newly engaged to Holden and scheduled to do an Ironman on her honeymoon, she decides to take swimming lessons. Little did she know that this would change her life. Her instructor, Liam Caldwell, is kind, gentle and patient. He builds her self-confidence and touches her heart. Their attraction is hot and immediate. He makes her feel important and loved. She knows in her heart that Holden doesn't love her - only himself. With her engagement broken, should she risk her heart with Liam? This story is touching and so romantic. The characters are well-written and realistic. Both Becca and Liam have insecurities that they need to face if they are to find the love that they desire. I love Becca's feisty attitude and the way that she looks at life. Liam is a keeper. What a wonderful man! This story has it all love, laughter, joy and pain. The collaboration of Nana Malone and Misty Evans is a success. I was hooked from the first page. Hit & Run Bride is a wonderful story that left me with a smile on my face.

This book is Awesome!! This book was awesome!! I loved it, and want more. Becca works in marketing for a sportswear company, her new fiancé Holden also works there and is successful. Holden tells Becca that he wants to get married in Hawaii so they can compete in a triathlon, which includes swimming. The only problem is that Becca can’t swim and is deathly afraid of the water because she almost drowned when she was little. Becca decides that if she learns to swim, she can at least be around water without freaking out.  Becca’s new swimming instructor is Liam, who is a great swimmer and just as Sexy! I just loved how Becca and Liam first met! The more that Becca is around Liam the more she questions her relationship with her fiancé, Liam seems to be everything that Holden is not.  I could not read this book fast enough, it is wonderful. It has it all, humor, romance, and of course sexy Liam. I would love to see more of the characters in another book! A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

The collaboration of two authors produce this wonderful tale of two lonely hearts. The storyline flows smoothly and the characters are well detailed and realistic. Confusion, stress and not measuring up to others expectations are just a few of the issues Becca and Liam face. They both have the need to succeed on their own. I thought this was a wonderful story and I enjoyed it very much. Gifted copy for review

Hit and Run Bride by Nana Malone and Misty Evans was a truly enjoyable read. We are introduced to Becca Daniels who works for a sportswear company, Holden, her boyfriend, who also works for the same company and Liam Caldwell a swimmer and architect. At the outset of the book, Becca is given a promotion that takes us on a journey with her as she tries to make the project succeed. From the first pages when she was proposed to by Holden, I was glued to the storyline. Becca, who wasn’t an athlete at all found herself engaged to a triathlete who had pretty much already planned a destination wedding to Hawaii mainly to perform in a triathlon one that he also expected her to participate in as well. Becca had no interest in this especially since one third of the competition involved swimming and she couldn’t swim. To satisfy her fiancé’s desires, she takes swimming lessons. I found myself laughing out loud when Becca first met Liam. It was hysterical. I won’t go into the details but it is too funny. Liam is her swim instructor and teaches her to swim. He also is dealing with his mother’s illness and his father’s bitterness towards him for not making the Olympic Swim Team due to an injury. Becca and Liam develop a special relationship. She finally comes to grips with the fact that she doesn’t want a destination wedding and she doesn’t want to participate in the marathon. As a little girl, she’d always dreamed of her wedding being held in her hometown. She breaks off her relationship with Holden which has affects not only on her career but also her relationship with Liam. I loved both Becca and Liam. I couldn’t stand Holden from the outset as he never listened to Becca and her dreams. I would highly recommend Hit and Run Bride. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would also like to disclose that I received a copy of Hit and Run Bride in exchange for a fair and honest review.
