Holger Holunder and the Mph
(Reading age eight to ten)
Life isn’t always easy for Holger Holunder, as he is a bit of a dreamer. He likes to contemplate things leisurely and he hates to be rushed. He prefers his own company to bad company, and he prefers moving sedately to hectic activity. But then one day he comes upon something very odd out in the wasteland, and this discovery changes everything. Suddenly Holger is forced to take action, and worse still: the action has to be swift. Stubbornly he keeps at it although he meets failure after failure. But he also makes a good friend, and he builds up a lot of confidence and courage on the way.
Will he succeed in his challenging endeavour?
A story about friendship and loyalty, about inventiveness and constancy.
