First of all, I think the title of this book sounds too heavy and thats probably the only negative thing about the book. It's a joy to read and works on many levels by comparing the Bible and the Quran without basing it on a conflict of issues, interests and beliefs. So much is covered here; from the creation of earth and everything to sex, food, music, etc and there are some really mind blowing things discussed here that I had no idea existed in the bible and Im a Christian. I also got a few laughs out of it and what really surprises me is how one page can take 3 minutes to read, for example, and another page can literally take 10 seconds to read, literally! thats amazing!

This is an outstanding book of non-fiction. The show stopper here is how the book itself is split into two parts - the bible summations on the left and the koran summations of the same issues, laid out on the right side of the book. This actually makes it visually awesome as well. Dont let the title fool you, this is noe a heavy topicm its real easy to read and the book is under 200 pages, and I found myself flicking through the pages amazed, stunned, delighted and a little impressed. The critics have said very good things about the book and the London author David Alaladee from London England and thats justified cause its a hard to down book that gets you thinking. You really want to turn to the closest person next to you and say "hey, check this out... cool uh?" Love it. reccommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The side to side reading viewpoint is very well done to create a visually appealing and fascinating reading experience that drives the book and keeps you interested, enlightened and delighted. A very good read indeed. I love the everyday topics and the taboo issues that are covered here also and the summations work as a real eye opener. Its possible to read a few pages before buying the book i think, so go a head and do that. Its worth the sneak peak.

The critical review on the front cover of this book really does say it all. The writing technique by the London England based author David Alalade is stunning, surprisingly objective, easy to read and so visually impacting. The books (the Bible & the Quran) are slightly different from the religions they represent, these 'slight' differences is what makes this book such a winner. Read it and see

Never saying too much, this book manages to apply the 'less is more' method of conveying a profound message. Very sharp and insightful. The books webside 'Holy bible holy koran' even has music soundtracks composed for the books worldwide release (which I listened to) and reading experiments tested on a focus group. Its great to see such interest from a young crowd backing a young author, and reading a modern viewpoint of the books that are most read; the bible and the koran.

The holy bible and the holy quran are very well surmised here and above all intelligently compared. Looking forward to reading the sequel.

The style and format of this book brings a brand new spin on a very old topic. There is candour, shock, surprise, humour, contemplation and conversation starters. A** Really enjoyed reading it.

Love the side by side perspective that this book offers the reader. Its REALLY smart and fun to read - just like watching a movie in split screen mode, only its a book. Amazing.

Simply complicated. I guess its true that you can talk and talk about something all you want, but sometimes you see thing much clearer and further if you observe something when its held close to something else. That's the theme of this book and title really does give a lot away - 'holy bible holy koran: almighty and all powerful. side by side' this is show and tell. And after reading, I must admit that I found myself doing a little show as well.

Received this book as a gift and loved it. Really helped me to understand the book that is the holy bible. Its amazing how you need to view something right next to something else in order to really begin to understand what your supposed to see. The author doesn't makes any overly religious statements but rather lets you read it, enjoy it, and get on with your life.

I really enjoyed reading this book and learning so much about the story of the Bible and its content. As far as comparing the bible with the quran, this is not a bible versus quran or a rant about religion. This book focuses on the the bible (the book not the religion) and the koran (the book not the religion), and does it very well indeed.

Read this book in no time at all. Iv'e been having some trouble with faith issues recently and questioning a lot of what is contained in the bible. Reading about those issues in this particular format is amazing. Found it Helpful helpful, though provoking and a good read. No heavy stuff and not preachy at all, I like that.

Subtle brilliance. This is a thought provoking book that doesn't push, pull or challenge the reader, but instead suggests, surprises and gets you talking. There are a few jaw dropping moments that hit you like a thunderbolt and thats always a delight when a book does that to you. There's so much to take from this book cause it keeps giving and showing so much by using this clever point of view which is also works well visually (another surprise that keeps giving). Its easy to pick up, read through, understand, enjoy, put down...and pass on.

The title of this book might give the first impression that this is going to be an epic battle between two of the world’s most powerful religions. However, this commendable work is directed at accomplishing a comparative of the Bible and the Koran without basing it on a conflict of interest between the actual issues or beliefs of those who worship. Holy Bible, Holy Koran: Almighty and All Powerful - Side By Side, does exactly what it sets out to achieve. It’s a comparative (and a very interesting one at that) of these ancient texts that have profoundly influenced this world for the better or worse as could be eternally argued. It took a special, meticulous kind of person to accomplish this undertaking. And for that, this book gets five stars from me. It’s a very interesting and worthwhile read for fans of the religion and spirituality genre.
