Marriage: the final frontier. Steven went first. He was kind of our test subject. Like those monkeys that NASA sent off into space in the fifties, all the while knowing they’d never make it back.

And now another poor rocket is ready to launch.

But this isn’t just any posh New York wedding. You’ve seen my friends, you’ve met our families, you know you're in for a treat. Everyone wants their wedding to be memorable. This one’s going to be un-frigging-forgettable.

First of all, I really need to thank my friend Cindy for alerting me to the Holy Frigging Matrimony blog tour, and declaring our friendship weighed on whether I signed up. She is also the person responsible for my reading Tangled in the first place. The best kind of bully is a book bully. Second, I'm so freaking glad I had the opportunity to read Holy Frigging Matrimony early. Really glad. I almost always love reading from a dude's point-of-view. I cannot think of any dude's point-of-view who is more fun to read than Drew's. Emma Chase has an immense talent. Holy Frigging Matrimony is such a short and fun read. But it would honestly be easy for me to write a long review about it, specifically about how much I love Drew and Kate. I would like to point out that Holy Frigging Matrimony is a short story. Not a novel. Not a novella. A short story. More accurately, approximately forty pages of pure sexy, funny awesomeness. I can also say that I was very surprised, pleasantly so, by the direction of the story. If you loved Tangled, you will not want to miss this quickie from Drew. Holy Frigging Matrimony is definitely worth a read. Favorite Quotes: I run my fingers through her hair. "I like you sweaty. You should stay like this." Her nose wrinkles. "I smell." I press my face against her neck and inhale dramatically. "You smell like sweat and sex...and me. It's hot. Eau de Cum kicks Chanel Number Five's ass." ~eARC, 28% My brow furrows in mock confusion. "I'm sorry--I don't speak vagina. Just what the hell is that supposed to mean?" ~eARC, 46%

I loved book one so much of course I had to get book 1.5! This is the perfect little bit of yummy to tide you over until you dive into the next book. Drew is up to his normal shenanigans expect this time he has a lovely Kate at his side and he is so in love with her he doesn’t really know with to do with all those feeling. Other than act like a caveman. Loved it!

Holy Frigging Matrimony by Emma Chase (Audio Edition) Narrated by Sebastian York Tangled series #1.5 This was super short but well done. A nice little addition to Tangled. Like an extra epilogue. Drew cracks me up. Sebastian York reads him perfectly. Orginal review posted at: http://paragraphsandpetticoats.blogspot.ca/

AudioBook Review  Stars:  Overall  4 Narration  5 Story  4  I’ve got Tangled in my pile of books, acquired when I held delusions of hours of free-reading time a week. But, life takes a left and things are far busier than I expected, so my introduction to Emma Chase’s Tangled Series comes with a POV short from Drew in Holy Friggin Matrimony.  Drew is, without a doubt, hilarious. His perspective on his friends, situations, life and himself are clever and funny, phrased to show both his heart and affection.  Although short at just under 40 pages or a one hour listen, Chase has packed in plenty of action, an event and some steamy moments to bring a solid ‘day in the life’ story to light. I’m now more than ready to dive into the first book in this series, expecting a fun and engaging read. Narration for this short is provided by Sebastian York. I’ve said it before: he could recite the telephone directory  and keep me engaged and listening for the next name! He is Drew in this story: you can feel the smile, snarky or not, with each funny utterance and moment, and when he focuses in, you can feel the intensity in his attentions.  There is an easily accessibility in York’s delivery style that makes Drew a friend and confidante, and  one you are happy to spend time with. The narrated version of this story adds an extra lift to the words, and leaves you with a smile.  I received an AudioBook copy of the title from Simon and Schuster Audio for purpose of honest review. I was not  compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility

Delightful short story in a hilarious rom-com series Very cute short story in the Tangled series. It was the last book I read in the series, and although I wish I had read it in the correct order, reading out of order didn't Impact my enjoyment. I'm not sure I read any book beyond the first in the correct order. The characters are wholly likable. The banter is hilarious. Drew's inner dialogue is as adorable as ever. The Tangled series by Emma Chase is fun, sexy and smart. Read them all. I dare you to not fall for Drew's charm.

Very short but, oh so funny. Love Emma Chase's character from TANGLED. New book is out, TWISTED. Can't wait to read more of Drew. I recommend this, 34 pages, novella. S.A.K.

As charismatic and insightful as ever, Drew Evans is back in Holy Frigging Matrimony. Spouting tips and insider information is something that Drew loves to do, and he’s not about to change just because of a wedding. But who’s wedding? That’s just something you’ll have to read to find out. I love the relationship he has with Kate. It’s been eight months since the end of Tangled and they seem as strong as ever, if not stronger. Yes, under it all he’s still insecure, afraid that Kate might find someone she likes more, but he’s learning to be the boyfriend, the man, that Kate deserves. He has his moments where he screws up, but with the help of those around him, he’s learning. I may have enjoyed Matrimony more than Tangled and that’s a little saddening for me. I loved Tangled and pretty much everything about Drew, but there’s just something about him in this novella that amuses me much, much more. He’s still an alpha, “I know everything” kind of guy, but there’s just that added charisma that he has in this one more than the first book. While the novella is rather short, it’s funny, clever and worth the read. You never know, you may actually learn something truly insightful from Drew. You just have too think if it’s something you really wanted to know.

This is just awesome. Drew is the love of my life. Emma Chase...the best new author to hit the scene in a long time. I've already preorder her next two books and will definitely be getting the one she promise will come after those. I highly recommend this but you should read the 1st book first.

This little story was so short but so sweet and so hot lol. Omg it was funny as hell too. I didn't read this when it first came out because I wanted to wait until I could read it before the next release. Now that Twisted is coming, I wanted to get my Drew fix and this was perfect. My god he is a riot and a breath of fresh air!
