Holiness is no optional extra in the Christian life. The command of God to every Christian is, 'Be holy, because I am holy'. In days when the distinction between the Christian and the unbeliever is becoming increasingly blurred, this is a necessary title.
Originally published as The Holiness of God and of His People, this book is based on addresses preached by the author at the Evangelical Movement of Wales Conference. Stuart Olyott has described Hugh D. Morgan as 'a greatly missed gospel minister' and one who 'understood the meaning of true holiness'. Besides including a CD, which demonstrates the author's clear, concise, Christ-centred preaching and call to believe the gospel, this new edition has been expanded to include testimonies from several men who are now in pastoral positions as a result of the author's biblical preaching, holy living and wise counsel.
'Hugh Morgan's prayer would, no doubt, be the same as mine: that those who read this book might strive for the same holiness of life that he sought and so often exemplified, and that the Saviour he loved would be exalted in all our lives.'
