Home Again
Bradley Singleton had everything a man could ask for; He had money, hell he was the wealthiest man in the area by a long shot. He had a famous family business, and he was the head of it. He also had a gorgeous daughter who was as bright as they came, and he loved her dearly. He had women fawning over him at every turn. He had been the state's most wanted bachelor for the last several years, so he could take his pick of any partner he wanted. Yep, Life was good, and he was happy no matter how much his daughter and sister thought otherwise. That was what he thought of course until Fate sided with the two annoying girls in his life and brought Her back to town. Every man has that one story. You know that one story that he doesn't share with his friends. It's a story different than the millions of date stories that make him out to be the ladies' man. It's the story about the one that stole his soul and stopped his heart. It's the tale of the one that got away. This tale involved Her, and she was back in town after years of being gone. The only question left was what he does he do now? Does he pursue the past and try to make her his future? Does he try to make her see the reasons she needs to forgive him for the pain and torment he caused her? Is it too late again to show her that he was a pig-headed moron who deserves a second chance? His Melanie, the Melanie, gorgeous smart funny little Melanie. Only now the woman that stood in front of him was so much more than that little girl that got away. She was Now a confident woman that he couldn't live without trying to catch the eye of again.
Melanie Michael was going Home Again. She was going back to the small town she had grown up in where her parents, much to her dismay, still lived. She was going back to that town where everyone knew everyone, and gossip was quick to make ripples in society. She loved her hometown, its why her twins stayed with her parents so often. She wanted them to love it too. She, however, didn't want to go back because it held so many emotions that she locked away the night she crossed that town line, so long ago. When she lived here, she was the quiet, meek, soft-spoken little girl with big dreams. Her daddy worked hard to provide, and momma tried to create a loving home. They didn't have much but her parents tried to make the best for her and her brother. She was the poor girl everyone made sure she knew that. She was also a girl with two left feet and weird style complex. The younger generation described her as Goth and she was still somewhat the poster child, they just thought she was cool now. She was ironically and strangely paired with the quarterback of the football team back then. The love story of the ages, her friends would say. How strange the janitor's daughter and the heir to the Singleton family. He had given her a ring and made her promises of forever that she foolishly believed. Years later, she realized how dense and easily manipulated she had been. That was the past and she was returning home Brand new. She was now Melanie Michael superstar, she had a huge fan base, she had men pawing at her door and throwing roses at her feet. She was a mother of two magnificent children who were her world. She had an entourage of employes who were as close as family to her. So surely, she could handle seeing the man that unfortunately still owned her whole heart. Her past though needed to stay in the past and she had an unwinding feeling the past was going to come back to bite hard. Could she escape without getting hurt again? Even though He hurt her she wasn't without fault in all this. She didn't know if he could forgive what she had done. Would he see that he had left her with no choice? Would he make her world crumble once more? Could she dare to dream of a happy ending where she and Brad could be together? Would it be the Nightmare she envisioned, coming back here would be, where her and Brad would hate each other perhaps even starting an all-out war? Find out When Melanie goes Home Again!

About the Author

I am happily married to my best friend and the man of my dreams Jimmy Caudill. I have a degree in secondary and middle grade education specializing in History and literature arts. My greatest accomplishment is being the proud mother of three gorgeous and talent girls, Shonda 24, Geneva 10, Chloie 6, and one Handsome hardworking son, Justin who is 27. I am also the proud grandmother of two wonderfully mischievous boys, Benson 7 and Liam 1. I homeschool my youngest girls and usually fill my days supporting them in their hobbies. Geneva has a dream of becoming a singer and is doing quite well so far, actually having performed many times at some small festivals. Chloie dreams of going professional in Soccer and has become very good at it so far. So, who knows, maybe my finally getting published will show them that dreams can come true. I have been writing and dreaming of becoming an author for as long as I can remember. When I was my youngest age, I could always be found writing in a notebook or a clip board. Publishing truly has been my goal my whole life and I hope to not only continue this quest, but I hope to be an inspiration to my family and anyone else not to give up on their dreams. I am beyond Blessed to have finally accomplished getting the first of many books on the shelves and available to readers. I normally write supernatural or historical romance. Home Again doesn’t fall into that category, but I wrote it at a time in my life when I was still finding who I was as a person and as a writer. I wrote this story when I was in high school. I never thought I would publish this story, but I am glad I did. My mother and my husband convinced me to go ahead and publish it and for that I am grateful. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it and keep a look out for not only other books indifferent genres of romance but also a second standalone novel continuing other characters featured in Home Again’s stories.
