And considering that I personally own more than 5,000 books, that's saying a lot. Each of the stories in this book is beautifully written in tight prose, evocative and dreamy. I have to stop after I read each one so I can absorb it. I re-read Ms. Colwin's books, all of them, time and again and I never get tired of them. I have searched in vain for another writer as good as she was, and I haven't found one yet. If you enjoy cozy writing that is beautiful too, buy this book.
