I've used this turntable for a couple of years now. I run it through a cheap "Little Bear" tube phono pre-amp with RIAA, and it sounds great. The included cartridge was good enough, but I went ahead and replaced it with a Shure M97xE, and it sounds much better, less sibilant, more like I remember the old records sounding on the radio. This turntable is also nice and heavy, make sure to get a jewelers scale, bubble level and alignment template for setting it up. The turntable came poorly set up, but after getting it properly dialed in, it's right on. The USB interface is a "good enough" sort of sound, I prefer to run it through the analog and let my sound card do the digitizing on my PC, but if you're using a laptop or a machine without a sound card to digitize, the USB is fairly clean and useful. Overall, a good buy, highly recommended.
