I'm happy with both the product and service, but wish that it had been made known to me that this item was out of stock *before* I submitted my order, rather than after I had done so. The teapot seems to be the genuine article, ie, made in England, and not Malaysia or some other country in Asia. It feels hefty, has a beautiful glaze and a pleasingly rustic look. The shape is simple but beautiful. To be honest, my tea tastes no better than when I make it in an ordinary porcelain pot, though it could be due to the fact that I use good quality loose leaf tea, so it won't taste too bad, even if poorly treated. The tea also does not seem to stay hot much longer than it would in an ordinary teapot, contrary to the manufacturer's claims. Still, I am generally pleased with my purchase and would consider buying more of these sturdy teapots, if Barnes and Noble stocked them in the other coloured glazes.
