They glued the cardboard to the actual product and now it's ruined. It's just a total mess and I can't get the sticky residue completely off. WHY would you do this when it's already shrink-wrapped?

I love this one because its flat and slim and has a slide out for my mouse (i still use a mouse!).  It's almost become a part of my laptop.  Love.

I am a veteran product designer and I have been using this lap pad for about a year and a half. I never use my laptop without using the lap pad. It is very smartly designed and I put a lot of use on it. I manage stock and commodity accounts so I am using the laptop 24/6 and even take it in the bathroom when I take a bath. After 18 months of use the bottom has stress cracks about an inch long in the center on both sided. Still this lap pad really held up well for me. If the manufacture was going to improve it I would suggest beefing up the bottom panel and maybe making the ridge around the mouse pad a little deeper and the mouse slides off a couple times a week as I take it from room to room. All in all it is an excellent product and I am going to buy another one.

Been using this for nearly two years and love it. I had a minor problem with a crack that I glued a 'bandaid'  on, but other than that it is perfect. Havent used any of my half a dozen other laptop desks since I got it,. The mousepad with the antislip ridge at the bottom is a smart design and the hollow part under the hot spot provides good insulation for my legs and some ventilation as well. Strongly recommend it.

I haven't gotten to use it yet, because I've been trying to remove all the sticky goo left from the packaging. The label left sticky adhesive and paper all over the surface when I opened it. There was no need to stick the cardboard sleeve to the surface since the whole thing was shrink-wrapped. I think the lap pad will work well now that I've cleaned it up, but the packaging was the worst ever!

The lap pad slip protection is excellent on both top side and bottom side: i.e. my legs and the bottom of the lap pad, and the laptop and the top of the lap pad. Although making the lap pad another inch long and another inch wide would add slip protection, the slip protection is already maybe even a hundred times better than without the lap pad.
