Excerpt from Home Movies and Home Talkies, Vol. 2: Official Organ of the Institute of Amateur Cinematographers, Ltd.; Published Monthly; June, 1933 to May, 1934 (Nos. 1-2)
As it takes longer to read words than to speak them, it was found necessary for the character to speak more words than in the title, in order that the beginning and end of his speech should coincide with the appear ance and disappearance of the title.
A somewhat complicated process calling for extreme care, but certainly justified by the results. - Yours faith fully.
