I really wanted to leave a review for this book, because I always read the reviews before I get a book and this one didn't have a lot of them yet, and it deserved a hearty recommendation. I've given it 5 stars because it was never slow and there were several components to the story that were ever-evolving so it always left you wanting to get on to the next chapter. The story also taught a lot about the importance of forgiveness - which Meg really needed to do. Not only did she leave her family for almost 20 years, but she let herself down in addition to her various family members, and misunderstood the very thing that caused her to flee so many years ago. A little mystery thrown in, a spiritual touch and beautiful scenery you could easily picture in your mind made for a very entertaining book. Plus, I found the info about cranberry bogs fascinating!
