My 9 year olddaughter and I enjoyed this series very much. We couldn't wait to pick up the next book. The stories of orphan girl Katie and the beautiful mustang stallion are very historically accurate. Moving West on a wagon train was very difficult and the author does a wonderful job painting a picture of the hopes and dreams mixed with trail dust and tears.
The best book ever, about friendship. ;-)
Katie went all the way to Oregon for absolutly nothin. It must have been hard for here to let go of the mustang. I just hope that shell live happily ever after. I thought these bks were interestin.
