Hope for Families of Children with Cancer by Lynda T. Young, Johnnathan R. Ward

"Your child has cancer." . . . What do you do when those words are spoken to you for the first time? Not a neighbor, not an acquaintance, not someone at work, but you. This book answers this painful and difficult question with gentleness, understanding, and most of all, hope. It is impossible to prepare for the news that hits thousands and thousands of parents and grandparents every year. There isn't a book in the world that can ready you for the heartbreak of that day. However, HOPE FOR FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH CANTER comes alongside everyone who has to face that day. From the initial diagnosis and throughout the daunting journey, this encouraging and extremely helpful resource offers advice, support, and hope from fellow travelers and professionals who are experienced with what lies ahead, and all of them want you to know that you are not alone. If you or someone you know has been given the diagnosis that a child has cancer this is a book you simply cannot do without. Award winning author and speaker Lynda Young and hospital chaplain Jonathan Ward offer indispensable help and hope that comes from years of experience and comfort.
