It was a modern take on an arranged marriage that was supposed to lead to my happily ever after. The rules were simple:
1. Marry a complete stranger chosen for you by professionals.
2. Live together as man and wife for eight weeks while cameras record your every move.
3. Make a decision to stay together or get a divorce.
Call me crazy, but I had complete faith in the process, until I saw who was waiting for me at the end of the aisle.
Austin James has never met me, but that doesn't mean I don't know him. With no other choice, I say my vows and pray I can make it through the next eight weeks. Then I'll leave. What connects us is my best kept secret, and I'll protect it at all costs even if that means walking away from the only person I've ever cared about.

First of all, let me say that the cover of this book was absolutely gorgeous! The premise of this book had my pulse racing as I thought about what it would be like to marry a complete stranger. I loved the positive outlook of Jillian and Austin and their trust in "the system." I was dying to know about Jillian's past and how Austin was involved. It was nice to watch Austin chip away at Jillian's defenses. As they got closer and closer to making the big decision, I was hopeful that things would work out for them one way or another. I had started to try to piece together how their paths might have crossed in the past, but I was never one hundred percent sure. When the day of the decision finally arrived, I could barely stand the suspense. Chapter 25 was where the bottom dropped out from under me. The things that Jillian confessed for the world at the reunion show were a bit unexpected, but felt cleansing in a way. The feelings that were resonating after had me on the edge of my seat. I needed to know how Austin found out. Chapter 30 had my jaw dropping to the floor! Just wow! When Austin's uncle calls in the next chapter, I gasped out loud. The story was like a runaway train barreling to the end and I was hanging on with both hands. I was absolutely pleased with the ending and all of the ways that the past was finally laid to rest. This book was fabulous!
