I was given this book from a friend whom enjoyed it and thought that i might also enjoy it. From the first page, i wholeheartedly enjoyed it, and it generally kept me up till late in the night. I usually read and sell on my books, but this one is definitely one for MY book shelf and not the one in the second hand book shop.
Though not an original concept, the story line and the way it is laid out makes Hopes & Dreams an interesting read. I enjoyed the graphic and explicit love scenes in chapter 17. I've also enjoyed the unconventional way the chapters jump backwards and forwards from the present to the past. Adrienne strikes me as a courageous heroine and the way the author has depicted her courage when tragedy strikes is quite realistic, I do give this book two thumbs up!!
