wife of Rob. When Hope was just twenty-nine, her life tragically ended, leaving her young children motherless. At six and four years old, Samantha and Michael had only just begun to know their mother. In these pages, Rob recounts the years of Hope's adult life; a story rich with her prayers to God and evidence of His work in her life.
Listen in as Samantha and Michael learn about Hope's deepest struggles, spiritual growth and health problems, and learn how these three things were divinely woven into something beautiful. As you read the story of Hope's Prayers, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll be challenged to seek God and glorify Him-in all circumstances.
"Only God can take a story of pain and loss and turn it into something beautiful for His glory. Each of the pages in this book point to the reality that God is good, even amid agonizing circumstances and staggering loss. Though only a few people in this lifetime will be tasked with the type of journey Rob and his children were called to take, all of us will face opportunities where the choice is of equal importance-wallow in self-pity or cling to hope. Rob chose the latter, and for our benefit he now tells his story with courage and transparency."

The author of this book has imparted an incredible story. It’s a peek into the life of two godly people, striving to live for God, and pointing others to His way. Each chapter you read, you are further drawn into their lives, until you feel you are right there with them, both cheering them on in the high points, and grieving with them in the low points. A special surprise was how talented Hope herself was, for poetry she wrote is sprinkled throughout the book. While reading this book, I was unable to put it down. It clearly showcases Hope’s heart, signified by her prayers. I would definitely recommend this book, as a biography, as a book that draws you closer to God’s heart, and as a good read. I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
