This was our first Horrid Henry book and our son and daughter who are 4.5 years apart both loved it. They're "good kids" and love hearing about a mischievous child and what happens with his antics. I would definitely recommend for 5-year-old second children and their siblings.

Another delightful collection of stories (4) that will not disappoint you. Without spoiling the stories, just know this, you cannot go wrong with getting any of the Horrid Henry books. They keep the young reader riveted...especially boys. My second graders cannot get enough of Henry and the clever alliterations littered throughout the story.

"When Perfect Peter's tooth falls out, Henry gets a great idea. He will steal the tooth and put it under his own pillow so that the Tooth Fairy gives him the reward instead of Peter. Will the Tooth Fairy fall for it?" Horrid Henry is a fictional character created by Francesca Simon and illustrated by Tony Ross. The first Horrid Henry was written and published in 1994 and as of the end of 2008, there have been sixteen titles published, as well as numerous collections, activity books and joke books. Horrid Henry Tricks the Tooth Fairy is the 3rd book in the continuing tales of Henry and his family and friends. This book contains the following stories: "Horrid Henry Tricks the Tooth Fairy," "Horrid Henry's Wedding," "Moody Margaret Moves In," and "Horrid Henry's New Teacher." Margaret spying on his treasures, sleeping in his bed, playing with his toys while he had to share a room with Peter ... and so begins my favorite story of this book. Moody Margaret lives next door to Horrid Henry and she will be spending two weeks with Henry's family while her own family is on vacation. Will this be the beginning of World War III? Moody Margaret does not like Horrid Henry and Horrid Henry does not like Moody Margaret. But Henry's parents soon learn that Margaret and Henry are cut from the same cloth.
