Books about horses are as irresistible to the multitude of horse lovers across America as are horses themselves. Horse Facts combines eye-catching, appealing full-color illustration with a huge collection of fascinating facts to make it the indispensable visual guide to its subject.
The core of the book is a comprehensive region by region listing of the world's best loved horse breeds--from the graceful Arab to the striking Appaloosa and the elegant Lipizzaner to the instantly appealing Pony of the Americas. Each breed is illustrated with a detailed full-color drawing, while maps, charts and facts boxes provide at-a-glance back-up reference.
