"Horse Tales from Heaven" by: Rebecca Ondov, is a beautifully inspired devotional, laced with scripture that blessed me as much the second time I read it as it did the first. I am a horse lover but I believe Rebecca's stories of how God spoke to and led her while she rode the Montana mountain trails for fifteen years will bless all readers. Rebecca has a special gift of learning spiritual lessons in every day occurrences and the faith to trust God in difficult circumstances. God speaks to us in a still small voice (1 Kings 19:11-13) and after reading Rebecca's stories I have more faith to trust His voice.

I accidentally discovered this book in my church library. Now I keep it with my Bible and use it in daily devotionals. I never tire of the chapters and the feeling that I'm riding the trails with a wonderful Christian friend.

I grew up with horses and the stories brought back vivid memories. My sister knows Rebecca and purchased a copy of the book (which Rebecca signed) for me for my birthday. I enjoyed the book so much, I couldn't just keep it on the shelf, So I dated the inside cover and wrote a small review and passed it on to my granddaughter. She read it in less than a week and loved it, (being she was given a horse (her mothers when she was younger) for Christmas. She also signed and dated the book and is passing it on to her Aunt ( who happens to take her to church on Sundays and is teaching her to ride). We wanted to see how far the book travels and how many people it touches. So far its went for Oklahoma to Florida to Alaska,,,, and hopefully many more happy readers. Dawn

Dear Rebecca, you may wonder from my review title, what the heck does he mean? I have been reading chapters, but slowly. I read one at a time and savor it. Your stories actually stay with me for days, and many times become relevent to me during the day or week in some situation. Now I have not run into a grizzly yet, but some of the clerks in Minneapolis come close. So, what I am saying is some books are like Big Macs, you are just hungry and want to chow down. Your book is yummy, to the point that you want to go slowly and delight in the freshness of the stories, taste the delicacy. Just like Lobster.
