Some outstanding equine photography by some of the world's most renowed photographers, but do not rely on this book's commentary and text as a source of fact. Many inaccuracies (perhaps something was lost in the translation from Italian to English), that the editors should have caught: pinto horses mistakenly referred to as Arabians, a photo of an adult horse described as a foal, Paint horses annoyingly referred to as "pintos", an obvious leopard-spot appaloosa whose pattern is described as "marble" (?? don't know of any appalosa described as such).Nice book to look at and browse through, though. Looks good on the bookshelf ;-)

This small book is big on photos of those lovely beasts we can't seem to get enough of. It has some nice info here and there, but it is mostly a great source for poses, dressage, and useage of horses around the world, and a wonderful reference for the budding equine artists in the family.
