I hope you enjoy reading my books, especially the Justice series, Cruel Justice, Impeding Justice, Final Justice, Foul Justice, Guaranteed Justice, Ultimate Justice, Virtual Justice, Hostile Justice and Tortured Justice and the novella Blind Justice.

Also available is the Hero series, TORN APART and END RESULT.

Plus two books in the Intention series, Sole Intention and Grave Intention.

Not forgetting my standalone TRUE account novel EVIL IN DISGUISE.

This story was okay not great. I would like to see a longer story and less previews of her other books when I purchase a book.

Everyone who knows me knows that "awesome" is one of my favorite words, but I don't use it lightly. It applies to things that to me are far above just good. Hostile Justice was truly awesome. It's difficult to review a really, really good book without listing a lot of spoilers which were what made you love the book to start with. I've had the pleasure of following the Justice series from Book 1 - Cruel Justice and they just kept getting better. I truly don't know how the author can top this one. I was slightly disappointed when Lorne left law enforcement. In Hostile Justice she rejoins her former group as DS Lorne, with Katy her former partner now her superior. This adds just the right touch of reality in a situation that would be difficult for both of them. Add to this a grisly murder right off the bat, just enough love and family to feel you're part of the story, and a counter-plot of a horrendous crime and you have a top-notch mystery you truly don't want to put down. When recommending the Justice series I've often said--not for the squeamish. Ms. Comley's books deal with clearly what are true life crimes and situations fictionalized for entertainment, and often are quite graphic. Even the squeamish will love this book. Although the story deals with a gruesome crime and several heart-breaking moments, it's well written and I can highly recommend it even to cozy mystery lovers. Looking for several hours of sheer entertainment? Love a well told mystery that even kept me guessing all the way to the end? Hostile Justice is just what you're looking for.

Series just keeps getting better! Love Lorne, Tony, Charlie, Katy and all of the gang. I you haven't read any in this series, I suppose you could start here as Comley does a pretty good job of filling in readers of past story lines.... with that being said, however, you would really miss out on some great story lines and the development of the main character, Lorne. These are all great quick reads that are action-packed from the start and they do not slow down. The subject matter can get a little graphic at times, so please keep that in mind if details bother you (though Comely is great at being descriptive without being over the top gruesome). I love that Lorne has gone back to the police force in this book. I enjoyed her time of being a PI, but I think I prefer her as a member of the force. Thanx Ms. Comley for another great read. Can't wait to start #9!!!!!!!! :~) -- SPeeD
