Action, suspense, knives, and a dash of romance. Enjoyed the pace of the story and the writer's way with words.

Independent reviewer for Divine Magazine, I was gifted my copy of this book. Jack takes Gareth to get the best oysters in all of England, and ends up in the middle of a hunt for some dangerous drugs that are flooding the market. 3 months undercover, away from his family was hard and testing, but coming home was just as bad. When things start to come to a head at Nancarrow Mining, Jack just can't say no. And walks himself into a trap. This is book three in The Power Of Zero series. You really SHOULD read, at least, book one, Job Hunt before this, also book 2, Ghosts will help, but not totally necessary. But I'd say read them both, cos they are really good :-) After LISTENING to book one, but READING books two and three, I'm left a little out of sorts. I loved this, as I did book one, and two but it was missing a certain something. And this is a prime example of why I try to stick to one method when starting a new series. I should have waited for the AUDIO files of books two and three. I hope I still get a chance to listen to them, because I have no doubt, that my rating will increase to the full five stars, with Fox Ballard's narration. The boys, Daniel and Nico are moving on with their lives as best they can. Jack and Gareth are helping as much as they are able with everything else going on. The undercover operation Jack finds himself in puts a strain on their relationship, but its the problems at Nancarrow Mining that cause them the biggest problems and THAT still isn't fully resolved. My initial feeling that the child prostitution ring and Nancarrow Mining's problems were linked proved wrong, and I do so LOVE being proved wrong! Is there another book?? I hope so! While Jack and Gareth are fairly happy now, I think they have a ways to go to get their happy ever after. And Daniel and Nico need a book! Preferably one each, but I have a feeling those two may never separate. I really REALLY need to listen to this book and I do hope I get the chance! because of that missing something... 4.5 stars **same worded review will appear on Goodreads,,, Barnes and Noble and Kobo**
