I left my physician husband after finding out what he was. I could not bear him looking at me, touching me, nothing. We have one child. It's been 2 years since the divorce and I am still so angry and bitter. He blamed the awful marriage on me being "crazy" and "needing help" until I finally found evidence he couldn't make an excuse for and he confessed. He is in therapy now, but I haven't looked him in the eye since I found out. I am quite sure he is still "acting out" via his erractic and disorganized behavior. No woman will ever know this pain unless they have lived it. I will never be the same.
This is a very good book - just to get inside the head of a wife going thru the worst betrayal imaginable. Taken from her diary & journals, you are experiencing the pain right alongside Maurita. Surprising ending, his sex addiction isn't a dealbreaker for the marriage. They go thru it together, she understands who he truely is, and she still loves him. TRUE STORY. Lesley Houston
