I read this book right before I went to the temple for the first time, and I believe it really helped me to have the beautiful experience that I did. Bro. Wilcox has written this in a manner that is pleasant to read, as well as doctrinally sound as far as I can tell. I love the analogies and stories he uses. He talked about canning jars, and how you would never seal an empty jar. It works the same way with being sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise. We must prove ourselves, and bring forth 'fruit' in our marriage, before we can be sealed. His insights have taught me much, and brought more meaning to my personal temple worship. I believe this book won the LDS literature award for 1997. I highly, highly recommend it for anyone who is planning to attend the temple or who wants to learn more about the temple, or who has been a hundred times and is well-acquainted with the temple.
