My grandmother used to read this book to me and my siblings and it was so memorable that we still talk about it 30 years later, so I purchased two copies - one for my one-year old nephew and another for my five-month old son (who loves it!). Lyle the crocodile is quickly becoming a favorite of the next generation of our family. I highly recommend this book!

My grandparents own this book and I loved reading at their house when I was younger. I loved it so much I just picked up a copy to give to a friend's son as a gift. Lyle will become a beloved member of any family with a creative or animal-loving child.

WE LIKE LYLE. WE LIKED THE PART WHEN LYLE DID THE TRICKS. WE LIKE THE CHARACTER. I LIKED THE PART WHEN LYLE WAS IN THE BATHROOM.
