The best way to describe this book is "mediocre". This is not meant in a bad way, as the definition of mediocre is "adequate or acceptable, but not very good; average or less than average quality." While I've enjoyed several of the author's books, this one was mediocre. Specifically, because the book seems to focus on what worked for her, and there was very little that dealt with how to actually convince a spouse to be open to try swinging. Many of the recommendations ("lessen her daily burdens", "be kind", "make her feel special" ) were about how to conduct yourself & create the right environment in a relationship to be what the author considers "the perfect man." While most of them were good common sense recommendations that many couples, especially males, could benefit from, many recommendations were things men & women should do for eachother regardless. The author writes in a fashion that makes it seems like everyone's expectations in relationships are similar, and disregards the fact that different situations and arrangements may require a different approach. Among these differences, is the fact that all women don't like the same type of man (personality), and the author's recommendations are simply for a man to become what she considers the "perfect man," and assumes others will as well. Take this material out, and the book is low on substance and falls short of the stated value proposition as a "guide to help you convince her." Some of her books/stories actually tackle this specific part better than this book tried to. The actual conversation(s) should have received more focus in this book, as this is just as important as having the right environment for receptivity.

Guys if you dont know this stuff already you have some issues. I found the book to be so basic that only a fifteen year old boy would get anything from it.

Not sure all of it is relevant to me, but it did give me great insight into some of the things that I could do to make this opportunity a real possibility
