Everyone wants to be happy. However what brings an individual happiness depends on that individual and upon no one else. In an age where we are bombarded daily with messages that brainwash one into what will bring happiness, the book is the guide that will allow you to discover where your happiness truly lies.
If you like a mystery with a bit of romance thrown in, this is the book for you. The pace was good, the plot well developed, and the characters grew on you. I felt the cold without having to be told it was cold. I felt the tension in the room as though I were in the room. All in all, the plot was a good one, but the sheriff and his deputies were bumbling idiots, and the story jumped all over the place. I felt like I was reading an R-rated version of Gomer Pyle meets serial killer. At one point an entire chapter was dedicated to a disgusting unlikable character who was insignificant to the story. The editing was clean.
