This is a useful book to have, especially for the new third-year medical student. When I started my third-year, I felt very unsure of myself. I was afraid of making mistakes. I didn't know how to present patients, write progress notes, write orders, etc. This book helped me become comfortable with many of my responsibilities as a third-year student. Presenting patients, writing progress notes, etc. became much easier after reading through the appropriate sections in the book. If you are a third year student, I recommend that you get this book along with First Aid for the Wards and 101 Biggest Mistakes 3rd Year Medical Students Make And How To Avoid Them. These three books made a huge difference for me and many of my classmates. They are the key resources that helped me honor many of my rotations.
