About the Author

Brian H. Taylor a licensed psychotherapist and clinical social worker practicing in the metro Detroit area as the co-owner of Counseling Centers of Michigan, LLC. He has received extensive training in various therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the nurtured heart approach and short-term psychodynamic therapy. He has also received training in a past fellowship at the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute. In his spare time, Brian enjoys various creative pursuits and spending time with his family.
