About the Author

Richard Osborne is a publisher, author and poet. Born and raised in the U.S. and Canada, he began writing poetry at the age of eight. At the age of 15, a trip to Vancouver Island became the inspiration for the writings Richard produces today in the Positive Vitamins Self-Help book series. Included in this series is the author's first book, "Insights," a 44-page booklet containing motivational and reflective quotes for daily living. The photographs in "Insights" were taken by the author at the world famous Buchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia. The first printing of "Insights" sold out, prompting a second printing, which will be available in the summer of 2013. The author's second book is, "How To Be Positive, Manifesting Your Dreams and Discovering Your True Self." A third book entitled, "Positive Vitamins, A Book Of Poems - Reflections Of My Life," containing poems the author has written over the last forty years, will be available in the fall of 2013.
In 2011, Wonders of Wellness was formed to serve as the publishing house not only for future books written by the author, but to open the door for aspiring self-published writers looking to publish their literary dreams. Another milestone began in 2011, as the Positive Vitamins, Easy to Digest Thoughts for Healthy Living blog site was launched. The writings have received worldwide attention. So what else does the future hold for the author? Richard plans touring the US and Canada promoting his books and sharing his life experiences doing motivational speaking engagements. Born with a sixty-five percent hearing loss in both ears, Richard was mentored in reading from the time he was two years of age. The time his grandmother spent with him helped him to develop his communication skills and overcome his handicap. As part of the "pay it forward" concept, the author will embark on a one year journey in 2015 doing missionary work with hearing impaired children teaching them reading and writing skills.
