So, I was referred to this book by a friend. We already had a boy and wanted a girl to have the perfect family. It took 20 months, but the method paid off. I have never been so happy when they said I had a girl in the delivery room. Definately worth a try. Good Luck!

We have used the Shettles Method twice with success and know other couples who have done the same. This is a book that has endured for more than 40 years. It must be doing something right! It certainly worked for us--once to get a girl and once a boy. We know one couple who had three boys and then found this book and used it successfully on the first try to get a girl.

I first read this book 35 years ago. This version has been up dated. I ordered this one for our son and his wife. My husband and I still like to tell others about our try for a boy, years ago. And yes, we have told our son and his wife, who would like a girl after having their son last year! I think it is still applicable today as it was then. Not too off the wall and made sense to us. Why not try to increase your odds of the sex you want. Two couples I know have gotten their wish and one did not. Coincidence, who knows? Dr. Shettles sheds some light on conception that the general public could be aware of, if they just looked. Very interesting.
